Retreat Schedule
October 1 to October 5, 2008

Wednesday, October 1 – check in
Check into your room at Lubrecht Forest during the afternoon and  enjoy dinner with the group.  Spend time during the afternoon setting up your machine or marking your quilt top, getting acquainted with fellow retreat goers or walking on the wonderful paths that wander through some of the 28,000 acres of the Lubrecht Experimental Forest.

Thursday, October 2, Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4 – class with Harriet
Enjoy a hearty breakfast then get ready to learn how to machine quilt! Harriet will provide us with valuable information so that the student knows what to expect and how to avoid the pitfalls along the way.  A thorough discussion will be provided to help us prepare our quilt top to quilt, make our work space friendly and teach us about the various threads and needles used.  We will break for lunch and resume class for the afternoon, ending at 4:00.  We will have dinner as a group and have time for a massage, a nice long walk, or just chatting with friends. 

Sunday, October 5 – check out time
After breakfast, we will check out of our rooms.  If time permits, we may spend time with Harriet asking for her advice on how to quilt our own quilt tops – so bring one you would like some help with!
